Keeping Fitness Goals In Check

How many times have you started a workout regimen wondering which exercise you were on or how many reps you should do? Here is a great idea to keep track of the progress you're making toward meeting your fitness goals. You can record such things as what exercises you have done, how much weight you used, and how many sets you did.

You will need a notebook or even better fitness software. In this, define your goals. For example, if you are looking to gain muscle, then your journal should indicate each day you work out, what exercises you are doing on each of those days, how many sets and reps, and what weight you are using. Writing that down and checking off each day you work out will enable you to better stick to your goals and never forget your routine.
