In fact, using too much weight can damage your muscles, so start out with around 4 or 5 pounds. This exercise is very simple and will really build the tops of your forearms. Sit on a bench and take a small weight in your hand. Now place your arm on top of your knee. You want to take the weight in your hand and let it hang just over your knee.
